Clear terms for serious work.

These terms explain the responsibilities that keep WeTrack useful, secure, and accountable for every firm and client workspace.

01

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of WeTrack, including our website, legislative intelligence platform, firm workspace, and client portal. By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or using the service, you agree to these terms.

If you use WeTrack for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

02

Accounts and organization access

Firms control their WeTrack workspace, including the lobbyists and client portal users they invite. You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access.

Firms are responsible for ensuring that their users have authority to access the client relationships, files, notes, reports, and legislative workflows made available to them.

03

Using WeTrack responsibly

You may use WeTrack only for lawful, authorized professional purposes. You may not:

  • attempt to access another firm’s or client’s workspace;
  • interfere with, probe, or circumvent platform security or access controls;
  • upload malicious code or use the service to distribute unlawful content;
  • copy, resell, reverse engineer, or make the service available to an unauthorized third party; or
  • use WeTrack data to misrepresent official legislative records or impersonate another person or organization.

04

Legislative information

WeTrack helps users organize and follow legislative information. It is not a government source, legal advice, lobbying advice, or a substitute for reviewing official records. Legislative schedules, bill status, hearing notices, and source materials can change.

Users remain responsible for confirming material information against the applicable official legislative source and for making their own legal, policy, and business decisions.

05

Your workspace content

You retain responsibility for the content you or your organization add to WeTrack, including files, notes, client information, testimony drafts, and reports. You grant WeTrack the limited right to host, process, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

Do not upload information you lack the right to use or share through the service.

06

Google Drive connections

A firm may authorize its own Google Drive connection through a lobbyist-controlled External Connections setting. The firm is responsible for assigning and sharing a Drive folder with the intended client before making its catalog visible in WeTrack.

WeTrack lists limited Drive metadata and opens the selected item in Google. Google Drive permissions remain controlled by Google. WeTrack does not copy Drive document content, change Drive sharing permissions, or guarantee that a user has access to an item in Google.

07

Fees and service changes

Fees, billing cadence, and plan terms are presented when a firm subscribes or as otherwise agreed in writing. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, service plans are billed month to month.

We may modify, improve, or discontinue parts of the service. We will use reasonable efforts to provide notice of material changes that substantially affect paid access.

08

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

WeTrack is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WeTrack will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of the service.

09

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access when necessary to protect the service, comply with law, address nonpayment, or respond to a material violation of these terms. A firm may stop using the service in accordance with its subscription terms.

10

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaiʻi, without regard to conflict of law principles. Questions about these terms can be sent to aloha@wetrack.live.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The effective date will be updated on this page.
